Lazy St. Patrick's Day
Mar. 17th, 2012 09:21 pmIt was too beautiful a day to spend working on taxes. I will pay for this tomorrow, but that's OK.
The next shirt in order in my closet was green, by happy coincidence, so I was properly dressed for the occasion. We grabbed lunch at Photo's, then took Katie and Julie to the park to ride bikes and play. Later, I took care of a bit of WindyCon business, picked up a new window fan at Walmart, and came home to a lovely corned beef that Gretchen made for dinner. I made brownies for dessert. The girls are anxiously waiting for them to be cool enough to cut and eat. :-)

Date: 2012-03-26 03:29 pm (UTC)Made Corned Beef by coating with brown sugar with Guinness in the crockpot. Wow yummy (first time recipe). In the middle of dinner I get a call from my daughter.. "I've been excited all day to have corned beef at Lauries. We got here and they are out. ... Do you have any corned beef??"
Made two plates up to go.
next morning a knock on my door. "Did you by chance make hash?" Does my daughter know me or what.
