I think I may have (almost) finished the fixes to our locking code. There's one more thing that I want to tweak, but the client test case seems to have run ok today, so it's just a matter of putting in one small improvement that will make people happier with the changes. (In order to get things working, I made an operation that used to work illegal to simplify the first round of coding. Now, I need to make that operation ok again via some new mechanism.)

I will be very happy when I can turn this over to QE.
