Slowly It Turns...

The much-vaunted virtual machine that I'm trying to test all of my fixes on turns out to run our calculations rather more slowly than molasses. My desktop executes a particular calculation in less than a minute running under the debugger; the VM is taking at least 20 times that.

This is making testing rather ugly. I did find a problem with memory allocation in Windows Server 2008 R2 and have downloaded the hotfix, but the calculations are still dog slow.

I am not happy.
