marniegucciard was finally able to join me for a game tonight at Wrigley Field. The last time that we'd been at the ballpark together was for the Cubs/Sox game last year that was spectacularly rained out before it even started.
Naturally, it rained. Hard.
Then the rain stopped, so they pulled the tarp and prepared the field again.
And then it rained. Hard. Again.
But it didn't rain hard for very long, so the game got started after an hour and eleven minute rain delay.
And it didn't rain again.
And the Cubs lost, 1-0. *sigh*
