Most of us have probably managed to break some laws in our lifetime, many of us while driving. I picked up a pointer to this article by Bill James (noted baseball writer) that talks about the American propensity to break the law while reading a column by Rob Neyer (slightly less noted baseball writer with a regular gig on ESPN.com).

It's interesting. And not just about baseball.
