Nap Time

We decided to pile in the van and go to Sweet Baby Ray's for dinner, prompted on my part by a bit of frustration -- minor, just annoying! -- at work. After struggling with Katie to get her pants on and get her in her car seat, by the time we got to the restaurant, she had fallen asleep. I carried her in and put her in her chair where she spent essentially the entire meal folded over on top of herself asleep, waking briefly once, before folding back up.

After dinner, I carried her back to the car, where she fell asleep again. When we got home, I carried her straight up to bed, where she woke up and informed me that she wanted to watch Tigger and Pooh.

Ok, I can work with that.

But that was one of the most spectacular cases of the batteries running out that I've seen in a while. :)
