What Are the Odds?

There's a problem when betting on a contest where the result's already known to someone, but it's supposed to be a closely-held secret. The closely-held secret can slip out, because there's money to be made. I've seen reports related to Survivor, but today the target is the upcoming Harry Potter book where a major character is supposed to die.

Possible spoilers here for Harry Potter #6...

(And, if they're right, it's just what I would have predicted.)

Interesting. It would make sense, especially considering who's come through so far. (Don't want to say more; too possibly spoilery.) I'm looking forward to the next book but haven't reserved it yet.

Yup. daisy_knotwise and I will be getting there as soon as we can on Friday.

I haven't reserved a copy of the new HP yet, but I figure I'll find it at Sam's Club at a good price.
