Dec. 23rd, 2008 07:22 pmThe new parts for the studio computer arrived in the most spectacularly damaged box that I recall seeing arrive by UPS. It was ripped open down one side, crushed in one corner, and taped back together. This didn't look promising.
It wasn't. The motherboard box was dented on one corner. When I opened the box and inspected the motherboard, it was bent up in the corner with the keyboard and mouse connector.
It was, in short, another Norwegian Blue motherboard.
And since I have to call Newegg in order to get an RMA for "carrier damage", I'll be speaking to them in the morning. If they're open...
