The Tampa Bay Rays are on their way to the World Series. With all due respect to my friends who are Red Sox fans, the Red Sox have won enough lately. (If they were the Cardinals, I'd feel differently. :) )

But it's nice to see a young, talented team manage to emerge from the AL East, certainly making the oddsmakers a bit perplexed.

And it's also nice to see baseball punditry thoroughly deprived of their preferred scenario with "Manny Returning To Fenway".
