Apparently, I can get a minivan right now for invoice price less the rebates and incentives.

Y'know, it IS hard to give up a car that's become a family pet. I'll grieve when my Peppi goes. (But not too hard. Nice new cars are just too much fun)

On one hand, I can see striking while the iron is hot. On the other, the Detroit papers say prices/deals are going to stay like this for 3-6 months. So maybe you can slide her into the idea slowly and still not miss out on a deal.

BTW, 'sticker price' is largely fiction these days.

Oh, I'm aware of the problems with sticker price. Invoice price is also fictional, but it's a cheaper fiction. :)

The thing is that I don't want to end up buying the last car left on the lot, because it will almost certainly have something on it that I don't want to have -- like, say, $1500+ worth of second row DVD viewer that I doubt would ever get used.
