Miss Congeniality 2

daisy_knotwise and I ducked out to see Miss Congeniality 2. It's a fun trip. Not too heavy in terms of message, suitably silly, and less contrived than I might have feared. Gretchen thinks she actually likes it better than the original; I'm not sure myself.

The only reason I liked it less than the first one is because I liked *her*( less than in the first movie. She was a little too stuck-up/demanding and superficial in the first part of the movie for me. (I realize that's because she had to be (being the public face of the FBI) but that didn't mean that I liked it. *Grin*)

I was much happier when she started getting some real action. Yay!

My dad liked the second one better too, but my mom and I both preferred the first. *shrug*
