billroperThe NL Wild Card Playoff game has arrived in the 13th inning and the Padres now have an 8-6 lead. This is, of course, subject to change by the Rockies in the bottom of the inning. The home town fans have seen quite a game, but it's not looking good for them at the moment.
As hot as the Rockies have been lately, a Padres victory would probably cause the other teams to breathe a sigh of relief. After which the Padres would probably go beat the snot out of them... :)
Update: And now the game is tied 8-8, the Rockies have a runner on 3rd with no one out, and the situation is, well, rather different.
