daisy_knotwise and I are expecting. Some of you already know this and it has been creeping up on the level of "Worst Kept Secret in Fandom", so here's the situation:

There's a generous woman up in Wisconsin who's being a surrogate mother for us. According to her doctor, she's due around November 21st, which means that life could get really exciting about then. (Ok, life's really exciting now, as well as a bit scary and nerve racking. But I gather that most pregnancies are like that.)

Of course, there are still many things that might go wrong -- which would explain the scary part. But we're keeping our fingers crossed that things continue to go well.

So far, so good.
