I Hate This

tarkrai called today to let us know that Cindy McQuillin had died. I hadn't expected that. The last I heard, she was getting better, but apparently I hadn't heard lately.

I don't much like it when my friends die. I suppose that's the case for most of us, but it's sad when it happens to someone who was just nice. I mean, there are certainly more words that you might apply to Cindy, but when I think of her, that's the one that bubbles to the top of the list.

There are a lot of worse things that could lead off your obituary.
