what I do is split people into groups and then read each group to catch up that way there is less posts per group and I don't run into that problem as much. I general, I spilt all the feeds,groups,comics etc which are generally high traffic into a seperate page, and catch up on those later, and concentrate on the posts from "real" people. When I was gone for weeks, and didn't get to catch up much, I split the real people into seperate groups, sci-fi fans, Buffy fans, personal friends etc.
Hmm, I just empirically determined that I can go back only 347 entries in my own friends page, which takes me to Nov. 23. I wonder what determines how far back you can go, and why it's limited? I already knew that the "recent entries" page only goes back so far.
Your Friends view will only display entries that were made within the last two weeks. If your friends have posted more than 1,000 entries within those two weeks, your Friends view will only display the first 1,000.
