That Was Too Much Food

Gretchen and I went there for dinner tonight. While this is not a cheap place to go for a burger, it's a damn fine burger. You can get it with a wide variety of toppings. Mine was pretty normal: cheddar, mustard, ketchup, pickle, tomato, lettuce, and onion rings. Gretchen had cheddar, bacon, and horseradish sauce. They come in a variety of sizes up to a pound and they actually seem to come out done medium if you order them medium. And they're on a toasted bun.
Steven recommended the shakes. We can second this. I had the double chocolate malt, which was too much chocolate for the burger, but which was awfully fine by itself. Gretchen had a half-sized Reese's peanut butter cup shake which was also excellent and probably a better size than the full-sized one that I had which was indeed slightly larger than twice hers. They have over seventy flavors of shake, which is more than I'll ever get around to trying.
They'll sell you fries, onion rings, or a combo basket of "frings". We got the full-sized basket which was (repeat the mantra) too much food. The fries were excellent, but the rings were better, lightly battered and crisp.
We also had iced tea (freshly brewed) and Diet Pepsi (caffeine-free available, as well, which is handy for late night).
The place was overly packed, but service was good. Total ticket with tip came to just under $36, which is really more than I'd want to spend for a burger, but we had $7 or so worth of shakes and malts with that and really should have gotten a smaller order of the frings, so some of that was self-inflicted damage.
