Apr. 19th, 2011 11:34 pmBefore going to bed, I generally either read or tell Katie a story. Of late when I read her a story, she takes the book into bed with her.
And then she tells me to leave the door to her room open wider so that she's got enough light from the hall to read it. Or at least look at the pictures and repeat the words that she's memorized. :)

It makes me Geek Mom proud.

The biggest issue, while discovering the Dortmunder stories by Donald Westlake, was stifling the laughter.
But today, there are so many light emitting devices around, I've been wondering if there is any challenge to reading under the covers for children?
