samwinolj and I were supposed to go to the Cubs game tonight. I looked at the temperature this afternoon (38 degrees) and called Sam and suggested that sitting at Wrigley Field was perhaps
not the thing for him to be doing, given that he was hit by a car last week. After a bit of thought, he concurred, so we both skipped the game.
Since the game time temperature was 34 degrees with a stiff breeze off the lake making it feel even colder, I think this was probably a pretty good choice. Looking at the coverage of the game on TV, most everyone else with tickets agreed.
