Vacation: Day One

Today was officially the first day of my vacation from work. This meant that I ended up doing enough work to reasonably convince everyone that the problem that they wanted solved wouldn't be solved until everyone else was back in the office, so I think I'm done with work for the week. :)

daisy_knotwise and I spent a good part of the day cleaning up the house, because jeff_duntemann, Carol, samwinolj, Bonnie, Jerry, and whl were all coming over this evening for pizza and dessert. A good time was had by all, especially Katie and Julie.

I'm drinking plenty of fluids and trying to convince this nasty head cold to finish clearing up, as I'd really like it to not be a problem by GAFilk. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

My fingers are crosses. Simon is sick too. One minute he's bouncing off the walls -- the next it's a spontaneous nap.

I'm working on "Jump In" right now. :-) I like it.

Out of the normal 15-20 on the morning meeting, we had 5 today.

Nothing had better break until the new year.

Does extra Vitamin C do you any good?

This works for some folks and not for others.

I already take a good dollop of C every morning.

This cold was stronger.
