Oh, it's apparently been weird in the dreamscape lately.

A few nights ago, I dreamed that the entire railing at the top of the stairs had become detached from its moorings, leaving nothing between the girls and a nasty fall. (Or [livejournal.com profile] daisy_knotwise and me, for that matter.) Naturally, it was a matter of some urgency to figure out how to fix this mess.

Last night, I dreamed that my (late) mother and I were in our minivan. She was driving and managed to roll it over in a ditch, removing the entire roof. Fortunately, neither one of us were injured, but the minivan was clearly totaled. And getting the attention of the 911 operator was being a challenge. Why she had a British accent was simply beyond me.

Stress. It's a killer. :)

I had a series of dreams where my mom yelled at me about stuff. The stupid thing was that a) what she was saying wasn't true and b) she wouldn't be upset in reality even if those things were true. (e.g., one of them was about her yelling at me for talking about wedding stuff too much. I'm not, and even if I were, she would understand.) It was bizarre.

Of course, the truly weird one was about how Steve was trying to install world of warcraft on my dad's computer, which necessitated upgrading some part, and she said that this happened every time I came home. I woke up and went "Huh?" a) why is my fiance installing something on dad's computer? b) why did it break? c) why would it be bad to update dad's computer?

Stupid brain!

Happily the last few nights, while a bit restless in sleep, haven't had bad dreams.
