Like Grandmother, Like Granddaughter

We were amazed that daisy_knotwise's mom managed to fit into bed with Sasha the dog, Bilbo the cat, and Fuzzbucket the really big cat. That was a whole lot of beasties in a twin bed.

Katie just went to bed with Badi the blanket, Tigger, Pooh, Piglet, Lumpy, George, and Dolly (the last of whom is a rather oversized Cabbage Patch Doll). George, at least, is tiny.

Katie's twin bed looks very crowded. And that's just what's at the head of the bed. The foot of the bed is full of other stuffed animals that I didn't identify, probably including Rabbit (who is pretty good-sized too) and who knows what else.

Now if she'll just go to sleep...

(I should mention, by the way, that Katie only complained about the missing bottle of formula for one night. She's gone to bed with a sippy cup of water every night since. Yay!)

If Katie remains on her current growth curve, she'll soon be the size of her grandma Vickie, who was barely five feet tall and fairly slight, especially as a young woman.

And Katie must not be a very active sleeper or the menagerie would be on the floor come morning. This in contrast to her Uncle Jeff, who can barely keep a pillow in bed with him all night...
