Sweating It Out
Jul. 15th, 2010 06:14 pmIt may just be that the filter needed cleaning. I've now done so and am waiting for it to dry out and for our air conditioner to thaw out so I can try putting it back together and see if we get cooling.
If not, then the freon recharge has lasted less than a month and we're going to have to do something, because we're not going to survive otherwise.
*sigh*
The problem is that we want to put in a smaller unit outside and then a unit in the attic to cool the upstairs. But the attic has been too hot for anyone to work in for the last three weeks. So we're currently in limbo.
And limbo turns out to be about as hot as hell.

Date: 2010-07-16 12:26 am (UTC)The Iowa bunch was smart enough to find shade and drink a bunch of water :) We finally hit the road about 6:30, 1 1/2 hours late.
Good luck getting the AC working soon!

Date: 2010-07-16 08:34 pm (UTC)any way if your still hot you could get one of those. i just hooked up the exhaust to the cold air return (which is on the floor) and with a push of a button i have a nice cold massage room any time i want. It is noisy so i try to pre-cool then turn it to low during the massage.
