Picnicon

Picnicon, the annual ISFiC picnic, is on for tomorrow up in Deerfield. The weather forecast is for mostly sunny with a high of 88, so it shouldn't be too warm. The facility has real bathrooms and a pavilion for shade, along with a playground for the kids.

shsilver suggested that if the weather permits (which it looks like it will) any filkers who wanted to bring guitars might find an opportunity to have music break out. We'll see what happens.

Do Filkers really need an excuse or invite? I thought that once they reach critical mass Filk Happens.

Of course 90% of the cons I've been to have had some level of an active filk program, or at least have been explicitly filk friendly, so maybe my perception is skewed :-)
