Getting Ready For Thing

We're all getting ready to leave for Thing tomorrow. This involves a great number of things that need to be packed, burned, printed, and otherwise prepared to be stuffed into the van.

Unfortunately, Katie is getting good at getting into rooms that she isn't supposed to be in. This includes the office, where she didn't make too big a mess, and the studio, where I finally figured out that the problem with the network was that the wire leading to the computer had been unplugged.

I'll see you tomorrow eveningish! Karen and I are driving up together, but not leaving 'til after work. My task for in the morning is to get out of the house w/ everything that needs to leave with me. Suitcase (mostly packed), guitar and music (in kitchen where I'll trip over them if I try to leave without them), a couple of bottles of local mead to add to the stash of drinkables in the con suite (on the kitchen counter), all three dogs (which will require hauling one crate up from downstairs, because I'm not crazy enough to tackle rush hour traffic with more than one of them loose), plus the laptop and all its necessary bits and pieces (camera, charger, cell phone charger, etc.).

There's a chance that this will happen. There's a vanishingly slim chance that I might even get to sleep some before time to wrangle dogs and luggage in the morning. Whee!
