The forecast for last night included wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour. Thus, when I stumbled downstairs to grab my morning yogurt, I suppose it shouldn't have been much of a surprise that two adjacent sections of the fence had blown over.

I'd been meaning to do something about the fence. Apparently, I'll now have to do it sooner rather than later.

*sigh*

Timberrrrr!

If you need to fix fence posts, Home Depot sells this nifty thing. Looks like a spike on the bottom, and the top is shaped like a fence post, with holes to screw deck screws into the remaining post. You use a maul to put it in, even through the old concrete... so you don't have to dig the old concrete and fence post bits out of the ground. A set of 2 was about 15.00
Works like a champ. We used them last spring/summer to fix the fence before the mulberry crunched the part we didn't fix.

Just after you been so nice to the house with new patio and patio furniture and lawn, the house found another way for you to spend money.
