daisy_knotwise has taken the girls off for a nap, so I'm here in the Dealers' Room leaching off the Internet in the lobby. So far, so good. :)

Except that when we moved out of the other hotel yesterday, Katie kept telling us "I want to go home now."

Alas, I got the same attitude (but not necessarily words) from an almost 13-year-old when we were in Montreal for Worldcon.

Of course he hadn't been home since June -- he spent the summer in Rockford with my in-laws -- so he'd been gone a bit longer.

Ah yes, Ron mentioned Derrick was homesick when we first got to Montreal (and we were sightseeing - boring for him), but as soon as the con started he got so involved with kid's programming it was usually hard to get him to leave to eat a meal.
