Still Ripped

I've now gotten it down to one large box of CDs to rip, which means only six of the long boxes to go. Fortunately, this goes more quickly than you'd think, because I have many copies of each title. :)

We're talking to jeff_duntemann on the phone now, catching up on the latest developments. And in a few minutes, I'm going to go down and throw some steaks on the grill to celebrate the end of summer.

Although I'm thinking we've got some good weather coming yet...

I would be curious how many songs (and albums) that you do carry. (The searchabiliy of that mp3 collection is going to be worth it alone.)

That's a good question.

Of course, some of the songs will be duplicates by different performers -- or sometimes the same performer on a different album.

Yes, that does occur regularly. I would not be surprised by you having 5 copies of some songs that made a CD jump and 1 copy of Banned from Argo in that mix.
