Deluge!

I'd planned to take Katie to the pool after today's SpaceTime Theater rehearsal. The weather had other plans. I don't recall a prediction of flash flooding for the area (not that we had a problem with that where we're located), but that was what we got. The Cubs game was rained out and the rain went on long enough that we decided that the folks at the pool would probably have long since given up.

So now I'll be taking Katie to the pool one late afternoon this week.

When it isn't raining.

You may want to double check the pool plans... all the local pools up here are closing for the season either this weekend or next weekend and reduced hours during the week. School apparently starts early this year and there is a staffing problem.

Though it does seem strange not going to the pool because you might get wet.
