Unplanned Obsolescence

The DVD player in the front room refuses to power up. Unplugging it and plugging it back in doesn't help. Since this was where we tried to play a DVD for Katie yesterday, I think it's been useful enough to replace. So I'll work on that this evening.

While you're shopping, you may be interested to know that we found two Shaun the Sheep DVDs at Toys R Us. Fifty minutes or so each, and a howl or two a minute. This might allow Gretchen a chance to go to the bathroom and brush her hair and teeth, at least...
