Although Katie is still quite happy watching Winnie the Pooh in his various incarnations, she has now discovered Wallace and Gromit. This could be dangerous...
*hee hee* Why are you worried? You have a fannish child.
Talis was watching Star Wars from the time she was 3, I think... And a friend gave us a video of Pink Panther cartoons that she still loves to watch. And Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run are in our collection.
I've long been a corruptor of children. I started my niece on "Real Ghostbusters" when she was a toddler. And I remember well the Christmas I gave my sister's kids the first 3 Wallace & Grommit movies. My sister looked at it and said, "Huh?" and her kids practically ripped it out of her hands crying "WALLACE AND GROMMIT!!!" in glee.
As it turns out, the Shaun the Sheep cartoons appear to be shown by the Disney Channel. The TV Guide On Line shows five of the five minute cartoons scheduled in the upcoming week, so I set the DVR to record them.
Hey Bill, would you be interested in a pile of little kids' dvd's such as Bear in the Big Blue House? It was produced by the Henson people and has muppets, with lots of songs and various themes to the shows (potty training was a very amusing one). My guys were in love with that show when they were about Katie's age, though I don't think it's on the air anymore. They loved Wallace and Grommit too (still do). So Katie might like Bear as well. If you're interested, just send me your snail mail. *hugs*
It's when she gets to Pinky and the Brain that you should be really, really scared. ("What are we going to do tonight, Katie?" "The same thing we do every night, Julie. TRY TO TAKE OVER THE HOUSE!")

It's even more fun than W&G, and is also from Aardman. Lemme know if you want discs, I don't think it's available in the US.

I didn't realise there was a Shawn the Sheep video. I'll have to look into that.
