Twas The Night Before Christmas

jeff_duntemann, Carol, and many relatives from Carol's side of the family joined us earlier tonight for a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. We'll be heading out to Bob and Kathy's place tomorrow for Christmas dinner.

daisy_knotwise is downstairs wrapping the last few presents, but just to give you an idea of what things look like now, here's a picture.

The Night Before Christmas Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring -- except for this rather large triceratops.

Now that nearly 15 hours have past since posting, I bet it doesn't look anything like that anymore.

Having been around little kids -- mostly nephews -- near the age of your's at Christmas I know how they can quickly and completely turn a nice Christmas Even scene into something that resembles the aftermath of a tornado :-)

Of course having 12 people with the youngest 3 and the next youngest two both 11 you get a similar effect -- that was Christmas at my parents last year. This year it is quieter, we're not there.
