Losing Valuable Husband Points

So yesterday after work, I went to pick up my comics at the local store, then up to Gand where I picked up a small device for use in the studio. After that, I met daisy_knotwise and the girls for dinner at TGI Friday's. Katie was fascinated by the picture of the original Star Trek cast on the wall behind us and spent some time running up and down the very long padded bench along that wall. Fortunately, it was pretty late and things were pretty empty.

When we got home, we found a message on the answering machine from jeff_duntemann congratulating us on our wedding anniversary, which we had both forgotten was yesterday.

Well, at least we went out to dinner. :)

Tuesday I wished my coworker Bob a happy birthday. He was genuinely puzzled that I'd (a) found out when his birthday was and (b) remembered it.

I said that (a) I'd over heard it a while back, but the reason (b) that I remembered it, was that it was the same day as my anniversary.

Alan didn't remember. I told him, but he was asleep at the time.

Happy Anniversary, and you don't really loose many points, after all you both forgot. I do find it interesting though that it seems a lot of fen have August weddings. Or perhaps I notice August more.

We often forget our anniversary. We had to find our marriage certificate to figure out how long we'd been married (and, off the top of my head, I don't know - it's been more than 10 years).
