Planet, Planet, Who's Got the Planet?

It's apparently Post A Link Day, as -- via Instapundit again -- I pass along a link that shsilver will appreciate. Here's an on-line debate about whether or not Pluto should be a planet. And Ceres. And maybe Vesta used to be a planet before something ran into it.

Sometimes I feel we should just give up, and declare anything smaller than Neptune not a planet. That'd fix the revisionists. 4 planets!

I heard or read somewhere that Pluto and bodies like it are now to be known as plutoids.

I initially read this as 'And maybe Vista used to be a planet before something ran into it,' which, really, makes as much sense of that train wreck of an OS as anything.....
