I'm sitting staring at some test code that I'm working on. For some reason that I don't understand, I can't select a cell on my nice shiny new grid view. The old grid view class works just fine. I keep comparing them and matching up the initialization code, but so far, no joy.

I wonder what I've missed.

You have left it set to "view only" or "protected" or "not editable" or have something that grabs the click before it can get down to the grid have you?

Well, something's wrong. I just haven't been able to figure out what's getting in the way.

The dialog bar for the older version of the view turns out to mess with getting focus to the nice new view that I'm building. I've disabled that dialog bar for the time being and the behavior is suddenly markedly improved. :)
