Yeek!

The All-Star Game has now moved into the 15th inning. [livejournal.com profile] daisy_knotwise has put the kids to bed and has, I think, gone to bed herself, as the exterior painters are arriving early tomorrow morning and she promised to get up to meet them.

I'd really like to see the National League win this. But first, they're going to have to score again.

And Buck and McCarver are talking about the possibility of another tie.

Yeek!

Update: Yuck! Lidge walked J.D. Drew to load the bases and move the winning run to third base, then gave up a sacrifice fly to Michael Young. Close, but no cigar.

So how did it end?

Thanks for letting me know.

I am slowly but surely learning lots more about Baseball and becoming more conversant at spotting 'what might happen next' instead of just knowing the rules 'why something happens now' ... the cable provider I am with has added NASN (North American Sports Network) to the channels I get for free, and so I have the chance to finally watch some - before then it depended on times I visited a friend that has access to US sports channels - and some softball matches I've been to and cheered at. The local team from where I grew up is one of the best ones in Germany, and since some of my friends were/are involved, cheering was mandatory :-).

NASN is a good thing, yes.
