Van Recovered

They told daisy_knotwise last night when she called to ask about the van that they'd call around ten this morning.

Of course, they didn't. She ended up calling them around 11:15 and was told they were "just finishing it up". We have the van back and will be taking it over to Meineke for them to check out early next week.

Then we'll find out who owes who an apology.

I'm curious. Do you have it in often enough to recognize any of the mechanics? Did they all change with the ownership?

No, we don't really have to take the van in that often. That's a good thing. :)

I find this interesting as we have the identical model and year van. We took ours to the dealership in Crystal Lake for the recall notice and they just fixed it without handing us a list of other things that needed to be fixed.

It may be a matter of utilization, our van has only 23,000 miles and I'm certain that yours has a few more than that.

Yeah, we're around 42,000 miles. But we'll see when Meineke gets a look at it.
