Poppa's Got New Shoes

I'm hard on shoes and I really need good arch support. I noticed a few weeks ago that my New Balance 965s had about had it, so I ordered a new pair. But since I was still rehabbing my Katie-injured right foot (which is much better now), I decided to wait a bit before lacing up the new shoes.

Yesterday, I put on the new shoes. And I found I walked to lunch with a spring in my step and a bounce in my stride.

New shoes. Yay!

And probably really good for your knee to have everything aligned correctly.

Reminds me of the short story by Ray Bradbury, "The Sound of Summer Running," in which a teen boy wants a new pair of shoes for how they make him feel like a gazelle running.
