19 Months Old

Katie is 19 months old today. While daisy_knotwise was cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, I took Katie out to the backyard with her large ball and a frisbee. She was fascinated by the frisbee and wanted to figure out how to make it fly too, but she doesn't quite have the wrist action for it.

She was quite willing to bring it back to me so I could throw it again, though.

Yeah, for her 19 month birthday, I taught Katie how to play fetch. :)

Sounds like it's time for Drummer to come for another visit... I bet he and Katie would have a blast playing in the yard together! :-)

Nah, you're late - I was teaching her fetch with the glowing whatever it was at my townhouse. You were just teaching her without the advantage of something that lit up when you threw it. *grin*

Too true! And when *she* learns to throw it, she'll want *you* to fetch!

Bill, don't you already play "pick it off the floor when gravity works"? This would be the logical extension from her viewpoint.

Uh-oh. Sounds like you introduced her to a couple of exceptions to the "Gravity Always Makes Things Fall Right Down" rule. Expect some more experimentation with cups, food items, etc. to make sure the local graviton flow is undisrupted. ;-)
