D-Minus Eight and Counting

We're now eight days from the projected due date for Katie's younger sibling. Said younger sibling is thus far showing no great urge to emerge from the nice, safe, warm place where he or she is currently residing, so we're just waiting.

I'm not sure that any of the parties involved are that good at waiting. :)

Janice and I are also waiting as her son's wife is expecting their second on April 30, which I think is cool since that is my bday.

OOooooo! Can't wait to hear! I'll be patrolling your LJ entries with bated breath! Is Katie Beth excited? Does she understand that she's going to be a BIG SISTER? --We have pictures of her with Maddie, BTW, from Capricon, that I need to email you, and also snailmail you some copies. Very cute!

Heh. Hanging back on such things like birth is a Duntemann family tradition, and Volume 2 may simply be taking his or her own genetically sweet time. Back in 1952 I was almost a month late (I think Gretchen was also a little late) and then had to be kicked out by chemical force or risk non-passage through my 4'11" mother's poor beleaguered pelvis. Having been thus embarrassed, I have been obsessed with being on-time ever since.
