Maybe Not Quite So Well Yet

Although Katie's been eating and drinking moderate amounts of food, putting away eight ounces of bottle before going to sleep resulted in somewhat more than eight ounces of urp all over Katie and Mommy. Everyone's cleaned up now and we're going to be rather careful about how much Katie eats at any one time for the next little bit.

In the meantime, Pedialyte is one of our good friends.

And if she urps the pedialyte, try pediapops. The popcycles make her take the liquid more slowly, thus less likely to lose it.

Will regulate the amount of fluid she gets at once, and the chilly liquid will slow down the tiny tummy, making it less likely to come up again. I may be a dyke, but I've raised a kid or two.
