The NL Wild Card Playoff game has arrived in the 13th inning and the Padres now have an 8-6 lead. This is, of course, subject to change by the Rockies in the bottom of the inning. The home town fans have seen quite a game, but it's not looking good for them at the moment.

As hot as the Rockies have been lately, a Padres victory would probably cause the other teams to breathe a sigh of relief. After which the Padres would probably go beat the snot out of them... :)

Update: And now the game is tied 8-8, the Rockies have a runner on 3rd with no one out, and the situation is, well, rather different.

Only question.... Can the Cubs take out the other 3 teams? I would like to see a Chicago - Boston World Series.

I can't believe the Rockies came back and took this one. Now there's a controversy of whether or not Matt Holliday actually touched home plate to score the winning run or not. Either way, the Rockies are in the playoffs. It should be an exciting post-season.
