The Archeological Dig That Is My Office

We're moving to a new office in a few weeks, so I'm going through my paperwork and deciding what is really, truly dead at this point. Two acquisitions later, I've dumped info on several dead products into the shredding bin.

And I also sent away the Alcar Associates business plan from December 1983 that described how we were going to write software for microcomputers.

It was a very long time ago...

Where did you end up deciding to move the office to?

Everyone except me and the guy who's going to retire by the end of the year is moving to the north-of-the-Loop location. I'm off to Westchester, which should be about a half-hour drive.

Are you joining another facility, then? (Since I can't imagine they'd put just you in a building by yourself...although it's kind of a funny image. *grin*)

Well, I suppose it would solve some problems. "For the love of God, Montresor!"

But, no. This is an old Peoplesoft office that they thought they might close down at one point, but with all the acquisitions, they're having to expand it. They also seem to collect a lot of people who are tired of the commute downtown.

Funny that.

S'ok. Unfortunately, we've been out of "Cavalier Attitude" for a while now. :)
