I enjoyed it a lot. One of my main thoughts after it was "Wow, Daniel Radcliffe is turning into a fine young actor." Some of the scenes he had to portray were pretty raw - I was impressed. I also thought that Sirius continued to be well-played; he was quite touching in (appropriate) places. All in all, I thought it was a good adaptation of a really long book. (The director and cinematographer did a nice job using montages in places to condense, say, the inspection of all the teachers, the various flashbacks, etc. They didn't necessarily have time to spell all of it out, but I thought they did a good job of capturing the basic gist of what needed to be there.) And Luna was fun.
Oh, absolutely. It was a wonderful job of condensation. Sam is of the opinion that they needed a few more seconds when Harry invades Snape's memories, as there's a bit that landed on the floor there, but other than that I didn't really miss anything.
It's been a while since I read the book, though. :)
And I did think that the Order of the Phoenix folks were seeming particularly ineffective in whatever they were trying to do.
But the montage cuts, the collapse of the prophecies, the fight scenes are all pretty much straight out of the action-adventure bag of tricks, which is why I say we've switched genres.
Ah, and the Weasley twins certainly know how to make an exit...
