That Was Interesting

It's not often you see the Cubs cough up a five run lead in the top of the ninth, go into the bottom of the inning trailing by a run, and score two runs on a two-out single to win the game. The folks who stayed through to the end of this one had a fine time.

Fortunately, I was one of them, despite the fact that the game didn't end until 10:40 PM...

We had to get up at 2:45 a.m. to get family to Midway. Poor gundo stayed up to watch as much as he could, then came to bed. He walked into the bedroom, got something and walked back out again to tell his Mom something. In that brief time it had gone from way in the Cubs favor to way out of Cubs favor. He couldn't believe it when he woke up and found out they'd rallied and won! Of all the games he had to miss...
