At Marcon, I was off my crutches and doing a lot of walking around the convention center. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed that the arch supports in my shoes were shot, because I'd been getting support from the crutch. This meant that my feet went sore, which meant that I started walking even funnier than I had been with the bad knee. That caused my left hip to go sour. And that's the way it's been for several weeks.
When I sat down on one of the picnic benches at Picnicon yesterday, I felt something go pop! And although my hip is still a bit sore, it's an entirely different kind of sore that's starting to feel a lot better. I think something's popped back into place where it belongs.
Phew!

I'm still having problems 20 years after breaking my leg, because the [expletive deleted] orthopedist wouldn't authorize PT after I'd been standing lopsided for four months because of the cast.
