I think I've finally figured out the last piece of the incantation that's required to make it possible to cut and paste an OLE server link from our document into other OLE-enabled applications. You'd think this would be better documented. You'd be wrong, but you'd think that.

I've worked with Microsoft development tools and documentation long enough that I actually believe that they intentionally make it difficult to write software that works well, because if it were easier to write good software, there would be more good software out there which would make the digital excrement Microsoft peddles look worse by comparison.
