Clicks and Pops

One of the challenges when mixing is getting rid of clicks and pops. Of course, I'd like to get rid of the ones coming from my knee, but I'll settle for minimizing the ones that made it to tape.

In any case, I now have a full set of candidate mixes for Hello, Stranger that are being uploaded for catalana to listen to and a CD burning down in the basement.

Now, if I could just figure out how the Bears managed to be trailing 16-14 just before the half...

Heh... it's been an entertaining game if you like "greased pig" football. Both teams are playing like they've never seen a wet ball before.

Did you see the halftime show? Prince playing Purple Rain in the pouring rain made for interesting visuals. (I felt for the guitar techs, trying to get/keep guitars in tune in that muck, and for the dancers, on what looked like a fairly slick stage in four-inch heels.)

Hey, the score could have been 27-14, if Vinateri hadn't missed that extra point and that field goal, and they'd scored on that last drive. Meanwhile, Grossman & Co. apparently can't complete a pass.

It's a good game so far, even if it does appear to be a game of rugby more than football.

I believe it. I was just trying to figure out how the Colts got to sixteen points, which is an unusual number for football.

Touchdown plus extra point, touchdown no extra point, field goal (at least I think).

Nice challenge by Indy just now... that was too nice a catch to give up to an iffy call.

They haven't been worth a thing since McMahon's day, that's how. I'm surprised they made it this far . . .
