First thing that came to mind was the Bob Dylan album Blood on the Tracks.

I was just reading the other day about Jim Steinman composing, and hammering away at the piano until everything was just right ... then realising that his hands were dripping blood onto the keyboard.

So, inquiring minds ...: how DO you remove blood from a guitar?

Hi Bill, Gretchen, Erica and Dave,
Sounds you are really cracking the whip with Erica so much that her fingers are bleeding :-O Hope the project is coming along well and I wish I could be there to help. My flight leaves for Winnipeg tonight and it will be sad leaving Sue. We have had a fantastic time and we just got back from her cottage on Georgian Bay.

You use Martin Guitar Polish and a paper towel. Not so hard. :)
