Renovation Resumes

Today, daisy_knotwise signed an agreement to have our last bathroom tiled. Tomorrow, I get to go pick out the tile while she's stuck at work (the store closes before she gets out of work), so we went to look at tile at Lowe's and Home Depot to see if there was anything we could agree on in general.

So far, we've agreed on the size of the tile (mostly) and the color (not at all).

It'll be exciting.

Meanwhile, Home Depot had ceiling fans on sale, so we bought fans for the three bedrooms that don't yet have them. Given what ComEd is about to do to electrical rates, anything that allows for less air conditioning is a really good idea.

Good luck with the tile picking! I found that whole processing exhausting because there are so many darned choices! Size of tile, as you say, and the style and the colour. When it came time to choose the tile grout colour, I fled the store and let Jeff pick.
