Accounting for 2022

billroperI've started work on the 2022 taxes for Dodeka and am making good progress thus far. I've counted all of the inventory in the basement, which when added to what Square has listed for us is all of the inventory except for what Katrina has on consignment. I've asked for that information and expect to get it on a timely basis.
Today I pulled all of the PayPal and credit card info and gone over it. I now know what passed through those accounts and have entered everything into the spreadsheet. I also printed out all of the Dodeka check images for everything that has cleared, but I haven't yet entered that info, as I need to reconcile it against what we've written. I still have one check to write for last year, which I expect to take care of at GAFilk. :)
The inventory needs to be entered into the spreadsheet, but that is best done once I get the numbers from Katrina. I've entered all of the sales data from Square, so that's taken care of, and there's just a small amount of data for online sales that I need to pull together.
The good news is that in just a few hours I have managed to do a *lot* of the fussy, annoying clerical work that needs to be done. If I had all of the data in my possession, I could probably finish this up in a day.
And that's encouraging. :)
